What's the Title of the Crowley Film?
September 28, 2009
Is it a joke or not? Initially entitled "The Untitled Crowley Project", the Crowley film (to be released on 19 March 2010*) changed its title twice within days, as reported by the Willamette Week online journal: first "Determined" (September 23), then "Extraordinary Measures" (September 24). The latter seems to be official, though I like Willamette Week's suggestion "Fuck You, Obscure Disease".
The film is based upon Geeta Anand's book "The Cure", telling the story of John and Aileen Crowley, parents of Pompe siblings, who played a - dubious, as some people say - role during the development of enzyme replacement therapy.
*Update (October 17, 2009): The release date is changed to January 22, 2010.
